New Global Scholars Selected

Global Scholars is an interdisciplinary academic program that engages students in global issues. Students are selected through a competitive application process, and admitted students range from accounting to biochemistry. Students begin with two courses, the first covering seven global challenges like conflict, governance, resources, and economics. The second course is a sustainability and urban development class that includes a week long trip abroad. This spring, Global Scholars will spend Spring Break in Panama.

Global Scholars also take a third special topics course, demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language, and attend programs related to global challenges during their four years in the program.
